Local photograph processing
A photo selected through upload, drag and drop, or a device camera is held in the current browser page for preview and analysis. MediaPipe code and model assets run locally after they load. The website does not upload the photo, save it to cloud storage, place it in a URL, send it to analytics, retain its landmarks or measurements, or use it for training. Replacing or removing the image releases the active preview and clears the result. Refreshing or closing the page ends the session.
Information the website may collect
If you use the contact form or send an email, Face Shape Detector receives the name, email address, subject, message, and ordinary delivery metadata you provide. Form messages pass through a protected server endpoint and the Resend email-delivery service. The site does not require accounts, profiles, or registration.
Server logs
The hosting provider may create routine security and access logs, such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser user agent, and response status. These logs support availability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. They do not include a detector photo because the photo is not submitted in a web request.
Analytics
Analytics are disabled in the default configuration. If enabled later, this policy and any consent controls should be updated to identify the provider and data used. Uploaded photos, filenames, landmarks, and measurements must never be included in analytics events.
Advertising
Advertising is disabled by default. The site includes inactive, labelled placement components for possible future use. If advertising is enabled, third-party providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their policies and applicable consent requirements. Detector photos and measurements must not be shared with advertisers.
Third-party services
The application may download MediaPipe runtime and model assets needed for browser analysis. Loading an external asset can expose ordinary request information such as IP address and browser details to the asset host, but the selected photo is not part of that request. External links lead to websites with their own privacy practices.
Data retention
The website retains no uploaded photo, facial landmark, or detector measurement. Contact emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, keep an appropriate business record, or meet legal obligations. Hosting logs follow the hosting provider's operational retention settings.
Your choices
You can use the informational guides without selecting a photo. You can remove a selected image at any time, decline camera permission, disable optional cookies through available controls, adjust browser storage settings, or contact the publisher about information you sent directly.
Children's privacy
The site is a general-audience style resource and is not designed to collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor's use of any camera or photograph feature and contact the publisher if information was sent unintentionally.
Policy updates
Meaningful changes will be reflected by updating the modified date and revising the affected section. Changes do not retroactively turn locally processed photographs into stored data.
